Cryo Therapy vs Cool Sculpting
Like CryoTherapy, CoolSculpting is a non-invasive fat elimination procedure that destroys fat cells with cryolipolysis. Unlike CryoTherapy, it can take two weeks or more before the slimming results of CoolSculpting are apparent. CryoTherapy slims and sculpts much more quickly than CoolSculpting. CryoTherapy results are immediate! While both CryoTherapy and CoolSculpt are popular ways to lose fat, CryoTherapy offers the additional benefit of skin tightening. Due to the nature of a CoolSculpting procedure, and the design of the applicator, the results are not as contoured as those achievable with CryoTherapy. CryoTherapycan also address cellulite with Cryo Toning. CoolSculpting does not have this option. CryoTherapy also offers a CryoFacial, which can tighten and tone the face while reducing wrinkles for a younger appearance. Coolsculpting does not have this option either. Coolsculpting can be extremely painful. 88% enjoy CryoTherapy like a massage, 12% say it’s bearable (due to cold feeling). Coolsculpting has incidences of “shelving” (fat collecting in other areas due to the suction) and numbness. CryoTherapy adverse effect very low (redness and numbness). Coolsculpting charges about $1000 an applicator. Many need 4 applicators so $4000 total. You can benefit from CryoTherapy at a fraction of the price. Coolsculpting fat loss in treated areas averages 20%. CryoTherapy fat loss in treated areas averages 38%. Most CryoTherapy clients lose 1/2 – 1 inch or more in one treatment. We recommend at LEAST 5 treatments depending on health and wellness goals.
Who is an ideal candidate for Cryo Therapy treatments?
CryoSlimming is ideal for someone who follows a healthy and active lifestyle but still has some excess fat that they would like to get rid of. It is not ideal for someone who is classified as “Obese” or with a BMI of 35 or higher. CryoToning is for anyone with cellulite, fine lines & wrinkles or who wants to improve the overall appearance of their skin.
Is it ok to have a Cryo Facial treatment after botox or facial implants?
You must wait 3 months for safety purposes after getting Botox or facial implants before you can do a CryoFacial treatment.
Are there any side effects?
In some cases, there were localized redness that disappeared after a few hours and in rare cases there was local pain that did not exceed 2 to 3 hours. There may also be some itching without consequences and often this is due to the reaction of certain cosmetic products used by clients; to avoid the chances of this do not use anything before coming in for treatment. There were some experiences of delayed onset muscle soreness from treatments on the stomach due to unintentionally engaging the abdominal muscles, again disappearing later that same evening. How long do the results last? Depending on the individual and depending also on their lifestyle and diet, the results last several months or several years. It is advisable to see how long treatments stay their best on you and engage in booster sessions every month, 3 months or as needed!
